amazon ec2 - AWS EC2 + Asterisk + My landline/Mobile number -


i have vague idea how play around asterisk. once installed asterisk on server running linux in our company premises. on same box installed digium card - connected pbx box(installed our telco) in our premises. after configuration - able take incoming calls on our landline number - make outgoing calls originating same number.

now, have read it's possible install asterisk on ec2. how connect landline number - can take incoming calls make outgoing calls same number?

instead of card need ata device sip2e1 or sip2fxo depend of current cards.

so can use device sip trunk , not need put ec2 instance(that not posible)

also can use current asterisk sip2pstn device. read asterisk book, have examples of asterisk interconnection.
