ms access 2007 - SQL criteria set to form -

i have searched question , though found answer cant work

here sql code im using, when run nothing comes up, have product_id selected in combo box before run there still nothing showing up.

select [1 cut wire & cable only].element   [1 cut wire & cable only]   ((                 "[1 cut wire & cable only].product_id" = [forms]![new report]!                 [cbproduct_id]         )); 

i have made sure combo box called cbproduct_id , form called new report.

[1 cut wire & cable only] name of table

i doing thing in particle wrong ?

drop double quotes, , close whitespace.

select [1 cut wire & cable only].element   [1 cut wire & cable only]   (            [1 cut wire & cable only].product_id = [forms]![new report]![cbproduct_id]         );
