umbraco richtext editor deleted -


i had problem umbraco richtext editor, not letting me insert images, followed forum , deleted richtext editor datatype in developer section, recreated richtext editor datatype same settings.

my problem is: properties in node of type richtext editor have disappeared content pages. i cant see text , editor. can still see content on website!

so cannot edit them content section can see them on website!

most need add bodytext property (or whatever using) document type(s) again. it's possible data removed, beware republishing node until have text in there.

the reason can still see content on site because when node published, it's properties cached. when site has access property front end, pulls cache rather getting directly database. allows site perform faster.

so add rich text editor document type. copy text front end backend (hopefully don't have million pages), , perform backup of site, database , all, before attempting fixes of nature.
